Cribbing collars may also be known as crib biting strap, anti-cribbing strap etc. This model has an aluminium nut-cracker style fitting at its base, designed to fit snugly around the windpipe, and a nylon webbing strap with plenty of adjustment. It is fastened tightly around the gullet of the horse and its aim iso to prevent the horse from being able to arch its neck and therefore be unable to inhale large volumnes of air.
